At iTechWaves, we have a full range of benefits such as Medical, Dental as well as Long Term Disability. There is a minimal waiting period, which means you and your family are eligible for the above benefits on the first of the month following thirty (30) days of employment. You are immediately eligible for participation in the 401(k) Plan.
Career Development Plan
To assist our employees with their career development, iTechWaves provides access to corporate in house training programs which we conduct from time to time on a as need basis. If it is deemed necessary, we will reimburse up to $1000.00 for eligible expenses after 1 year of continuous employment.
Medical Insurance
Kaiser Healthcare has offered two plans to our employees - POS (Point of Service) & OAP (Open Access Plus). POS plan is more like an HMO plan for which the network changes from state to state. OAP is a PPO plan which is widely accepted through out the nation. Employees can visit any specialist within the network of their plan. Both plans do not require any referrals from the PCPs. It is advisable to go through In-network doctors and get 100% coverage than going through an out-of-network doctor which has huge deductibles.
Dental Insurance
The Preferred Dentist Program (PDP) product offered by American General Insurance allows you to visit any specialist or dentist without a referral. iTechWaves program provides full coverage for preventative and basic procedures when visiting an in-network provider, and partial coverage for most major restorative procedures and orthodontia. Although you have the freedom to choose providers, you receive a higher level of coverage and save significant out-of-pocket dental costs when you seek care from a American General Insurance participating provider.
Cafeteria Plan
iTechWaves Cafeteria Plan allows you to reap cost saving benefits by paying your medical, dental insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars. This means your employee contributions will be deducted from each paycheck before federal and social security taxes are withheld, ultimately resulting in a lower taxable income and fewer taxes to pay.
401(k) Savings Plan
A 401k plan is a retirement plan, an account that houses an employee's savings over the course of an entire career. iTechWaves provides 401(K) benefit plan through Merrill Lynch. Employees can mark down a percentage of the gross salary to be contributed, which will be deducted from the paycheck. Employees can participate in this plan on an at-will basis and this benefit is tax-free. The employees contribution can vary anywhere from 2% to 15% of their annual salary subject to that year's dollar maximum limit set by the IRS. These investments continue to grow tax-free until withdrawn.
Vacation:
Vacation days accrue at the rate of 6.66 hours per month to 10 days per year. Employees will be compensated for their unused vacation time at the regular rate of pay from when the vacation was earned, for any given calender year, in the beginning of the next year. Vacation must be taken only on such days as are agreeable and appropriate to the company/business needs.
Referral Bonus :
At iTechWaves we believe - Talent begets talent. In our continued effort to find the most talented IT professionals, we realize our best resource is referrals from our employees.
Recruitment Referral Reward:
If an Employee refers a candidate who joins iTechWaves, with an active project, then the referred employee will be paid $500 per quarter for 1 whole year, which is a total of $2000 cash. If an Employee refers a friend who joins iTechWaves, without any project on hand then the referred employee will be paid $300 per quarter for 1 whole year, which is a total of $1200 cash.
Project Referral Reward:
iTechWaves will award its employee with a referral bonus of $1000 for every project / sale referral made by them. Send referrals to:

Books :
iTechWaves will pay a maximum of $100.00 per calendar year for books or periodicals related to your career. This must be submitted on an expense report with receipt. This benefit cannot be carried over from one year to the next.
All benefits described herein may be changed or terminated at any time at the sole discretion of iTechWaves, with or without notice. This summary description is not a contract. Benefits are determined in accordance with the Group Contract of each respective benefit provider. If there is any conflict between this summary description and a respective Group Contract, the latter controls.
